Audition for Chorus!
There are three parts to the choir audition:
Prepared Song “America (My Country Tis of Thee)”
Sight-Singing
Song of your choice. Any style/genre. Something that showcases your voice (1 minute)
Auditions are Tuesday, April 22nd, 3:15 - 5:30pm
In-person auditions are preferred. If you have a true conflict, please email Mr. Ayars for other options
If you don’t want to audition for an advanced class, just sign up for Concert Choir (Chorus). It is a mixed ensemble that performs VCDA Level 2 and 3 music.
If you are not selected for an advanced class, no worries! You will be put in Concert Choir and can audition again next year!

Auditioned Choirs at Chantilly High School
Aurora (Advanced Treble Chorus): Advanced Treble (Soprano and Alto) Chorus, singing SSA and SSAA repertoire. Performs mainly VCDA Level 3 and 4 music.
Chamber Chorale (Advanced Mixed Chorus): Advanced Mixed ensemble, singing SATB and SAB repertoire. Performs mainly VCDA Level 4 and 5 music.
Both classes are classified as Honors classes and receive a 0.5 GPA bump
